Jake Thomas
Jake was born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo and has worked in the automotive industry his entire adult life. After starting in the cleanup department as a teenager he graduated from the Automotive Marketing Program at Georgian College and eventually worked his way up to opening Schlueter Hyundai in Waterloo as the General Manager. Now he is proud and excited to be heading up the team bringing the Genesis brand to Kitchener-Waterloo. When not in the dealership he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids in the outdoors, particularly on the water fishing.
Kelly Schlueter
Kelly has grown up in the automotive industry and is the third generation of her family to be in the business. Born and raised in Waterloo, Kelly earned a BA from Queen’s University and a Diploma in Public Relations from Humber College. Having worked in car dealerships for over 20 years Kelly is looking forward to bringing her extensive knowledge of the industry to Genesis Kitchener-Waterloo. Outside of work Kelly is an avid reader and loves spending time with her husband, kids and puppy.
Dave Barnes
Dave Barnes is a native of Kitchener-Waterloo, having watched it grow and change over the years. A member of the Schlueter Hyundai team for 12 years, Dave has taken on a variety of roles over that time, including Sales, Business Manager and Service Advisor. He is excited to bring this breadth of experience and knowledge to Genesis KW and knows it will help him to deliver the very best experience to our Genesis clients.
Nick Mehta
Nick was born and raised in India and completed his MBA from NDSU, USA before following his passion for cars into the automotive industry. When not at work he likes to spend time with his wife and daughter, hike in the nature and explore his love for travelling.
Shantal Makowka
Shantal grew up in the GTA and after finishing her studies at UWO moved to settle down in Kitchener-Waterloo. Having been in the customer service and hospitality industry her entire professional life she is excited to put those skills to good use as a Genesis Experience Manager. Outside of work Shantal can often be found enjoying the outdoors, preferably at the beach or lakeside. She is also passionate about literature, fitness and sports and the Toronto Raptors.
Delynne Bauer
Born and raised in Cambridge, Delynne holds a BA in Consumer Studies from the University of Guelph. With over 30 years of experience in hospitality sales and management, along with 2 years in Finance and Insurance, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Genesis team. In her spare time Delynne enjoys keeping up with her 18-year-old daughter, following the Toronto Maple Leafs, playing tennis, skiing, and spending time at the beach.
Adam Clysdale
Adam Clysdale graduated from Georgian College with Business Degree in Automotive Management. He brings over 8 years of service experience to his role with Genesis KW and is committed to exceeding the expectations of our clients. Outside of work he has earned a black belt in Karate, loves escape rooms and puzzles and spending time with his friends.
